a. Note:   The birth date of Charles T. M. in family records is 10 September 1860. It is (10?) October 1859 in Boyd Co. Records. The 10 is not clear in the Boyd Co. Records. The 1860 census gives his age as 9 months on 8 June 1860. (10 Sept 1859 date would be two days short of 9 months.) There may be confusion between 9 Oct - 9/10 and 10 Sept - 10-9 in the Co. records. I will use the 1860 census and the Boyd Co. Records year of 1859 and the 10 Sept date from family records. There is also the fact that the 1860 Boyd Co. Census was taken in 1861 after the county got organized. All information was supposed to be recorded as if the date was 1860, and other birhs I have checked show that this correction was done.
