a. Note:   The counties in Missouri that Hiram went to had no other Alley families. Thus no connection to the brother that was supposed to have gone on to Missouri when the brother that was ill, Samuel, stayed in Kentucky.
  Hiram is listed in the census as living with his first wife in June 1900 in OK. He married his second wife in Boyd Co. KY on 16 February 1910, and they are listed there in the 1910 census. The Alley family in Boyd Co., KY, about 1980, verified to me the second marriage and reported where they thought he may have moved to Missouri and died. Hiram is not listed in the Missouri Death Certificates so he may have died in OK.
  Hiram was called Hi by his Jamison relatives.
