Note: Uncle Clyde is somewhat of a mystery to me; at one time he ran the dairy, so I believe, and then something happened that wasn't talked about and he was an outsider,not close to the rest of the family. He was in local politics, ie, squire, constable and I dont know what else , for how long I dont know. Then he was unemployed for a period of time and the family was in dire straits.
The next thing I remember he was a coal miner working at Bridgeport mine and that continued for a long period of time. He was retired on disability for black lung until he died.
