Note: Uncle Jack was my favorite of the family, he was in my mind the father I never really had at home. I feel he wanted it that way because he never could have any kids with his wife, who apparently was barren. I've heard he had some offspring around town but I dont know how true it was. He was huckster,always wheeling and dealing, buying and selling something ; anything to make a buck. He owned trucks hauling coal and trucks working at the Alicia coke ovens,He also had a Hudson dealership and a used car lot. He also owned several houses which were rented out. He also wasn't a home body,there were girlfriends all over the place.
