Note: Born Lewistown, MT. Attended high school in Hobson, MT. Despite taking only 4 lessons in playing the violin before going to colllege she attended the University of Montana, obtaining a degree in music education with a minor in Spanish. Took a trip to Mexico with a friend shortly after college and then started working first for a year in Broadus, MT. for a year and then in Rangely, Wyoming for anotherf year before getting married. Engagement date was January 2, 1949. Raised five children, played in the Mid Columbia Orchestra as a violinist. Became a realtor and worked for Century 21 Real Estate. Died from metastatic cancer to her liver from an unknown primary. A very gracious and humble person. The word "nice" in Webster's dictionary should have her picture above it.
