a. Note:   Pryor Madison married Sarah League at Nashville Tn. and latter had (Maggie) Margurete married to Ellis Bacon and Bessie who never married.
 The Fannan Co. Ga. Census of 1880 lists his family under the name of
 Prior Buchanan and lists him as 25 years old which would make him born 1854 or
 55. His mother and Mary Jane and William lived with him. He purchased the
 mt. home place at Soddy 1 Oct. 1899. He had features of an Indian and called
 himself "Little Buckhorn". He did not know who his father was as he illigit.
