  Mr. Frank Hartley of Stanstead- The passing of Frank Hartley occurred April 26, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eddie Brock, following a short illness. Mr. Hartley was born in Stanstead in 1864 living there during his 78 years. Death drew to a close a life devoted to his family and a life of honored and respected citizenship.
  He was married on March 4, 1908 to Katie Bowen who survives him. Surviving children of this marriage are: Sidney, Sadie, (Mrs. Edgar Brock), Ellie, and Alice (Mrs. Paul L. Bailey). Also children of a former marriage to Myrtle Danforth, deceased are: Ralph and Emma (Mrs. Edward Sunbury). Two surviving stepchildren are Bertha (Mrs. Norris Brock) and Wallace Reigel.
  Grandchildren are in the families of Sidney Hartley, Mrs. Norris Brock and Wallace Reigel, and Mrs. Edward Ashman, deceased. Mr. James Hartley of Ayer's Cliff is the only surviving brother. There are no living sisters. The bearers were Ralph, Sidney, and Ellie, sons, and Wallace, stepson.
  Among relatives who attended from a distance were Mr & Mrs Ralph Hartley and Mr & Mrs Edward Sunbury of Everett, Mass. Mr & Mrs Wallace Reigel of Newport, VT, Mrs. Norris Brock and children of South Royalton, VT, Mr & Mrs James Hartley of Ayer's Cliff, Mr & Mrs Will Sanborn of Holland, VT, Mr & Mrs. Paul Bailey of Toronto, ON, Mrs Everett Bowen of Laconia, NH & Mr Edward Ashman and son of Holland, VT.
