Note: He was baptised on Aug 12, 1842. The marriage was at St. George's Church, Lennoxville. Witnessed by John Digby, Mary Ann Lebaron and Orran Lebaron. None of those signing could write.
He was re-baptised into the Catholic faith at St. Michel Cathedral in Sherbrooke on July 19, 1871.
A C. J. Digby was listed as bookkeeper, Portland Ave, Sherbrooke in the 1888 Sherbrooke Directory.

I wonder what happened that Horace died on June 21, 1872 at age 8 yrs and my
fathers twin died on Aug, 20,1872...
The family imigrated to the United States about 1875 They settled in
Hennepin county, Minnesota The 1880 census lists only Moses age 12---Arthur age
10 and Louis age 7. I have not found what happened to William or Moses and my
Father never talked about it.
Charles Digby died in Feb. of 1883
Marie had changed her name to Mary when she came to the states..
The Census shows that Mary Digby re-married in about 1886 She died May
18,1926.

P.S. Oh Yes---Arthur Digby was very close to my Father and lived in
Winter, Wisc where we were raised and is buried next to my Mother and Father
1880 census Hassan, Hennepin County, MN Charles age 38 born Canada, farmer. Parents both born in England. Mary, wife age 35 b. Canada as were both her parents. Moses, 12, Arthur, 10 Louis 7 all born in Canada.
