a. Note:   Thankful Fish came to Hatley, Quebec from Reading, Windsor, Vermont in 1796. She lived to the age of 96 yr. 8 months and 23 days. Originally from Peperrell, Massachusetts. Church Record says Thankful Fish Taylor died March 17, 1862 wife of William Taylor born in Pepperel, Massachusetts June 21, 1766. Buried in West Hatley.
  Stanstead Journal- In Hatley, March 15th, Mrs. Thankful Fish, widow of the late William Taylor aged 96 yrs, 8 months, 23 days. She came to Hatley from Windsor, Vermont 66 years ago and has always resided upon the farm where her husband first erected his log cabin.
 Also in Hatley, on the same day, Polly, relict of the late John Parnell and daughter of the above William and Thankful Taylor aged 68 years.
  They were married on Tuesday, Feb 14, 1788.
