  My 3xGtGrandmother was Elizabeth Digby born c1806 & according to census was
 born in Felthorpe,Norfolk. She married John Bircham at Brampton & raised
 her family there. Looking through Parish Registers I have come across
 Digby's living at Brampton & closeby. The parents appear to be Joseph who
 married Ann Little. There was a John but he was born early 1790s. There
 are several Digby families scattered around Norfolk so if you knew a village
 it might be easier to narrow down.
