  Hi Leslie,
  Its me Alethea Gaukel.
I recieved the Book that I was telling you about that has a little Family tree information in it.
It says that the Baker Family was from Northern Ireland. It says that Ann Hill Was an English Girl.
It says That Agnes Orr was a Neighbor of the Baker Family. It says That Agnes Orr and James Baker had 5 Children. And That James Was a Logger, and a Grain Farmer. The book says that After agnes Died James Married Mary Cinnamon. And They had 5 Children. Then it Goes on to Talk about one Of James Baker's Son's Robert John Baker. It talks about how he went to Live with his Aunt and Uncle Carpenter Following the death of his Mother. Then it talks about how he met his Wife. They were married June 3rd 1879 at St. Patricks in Quebec. I dont Know where this church may be. I am hoping that you might Know.
Then it goes on to Explain about Moving to California. It talks about how Robert and his Wife were asked to Go into Partnership in a farm in Michigan with His Uncle Carpenter, and His father, James Drove them To the Rail Station and Gave him some advice, and the advice lead to the Decision to Move to California where his Brothers had gone a few years Before. It says that the year was 1883.
So some time After 1883 James Moved to be with his Children. Maybe he moved back to Canada and then Died. Or he Died in the states and Then the Children shipped him back.
  Talk to you soon,
 alethea
