Mrs. Sharpe was born and lived her entire life in Chambers County. Funeral services were held from the residence on Monday, July 19, at 3:00 p.m. Interment was in the family cemetery at White Plains. Services were conducted by Rev. Ernest Talley and Rev. J. H. Harris. Johnson and Sanders Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. A member of the Penton Church of God, Mrs. Sharpe is survived by the husband; 6 daughters, Mrs. S. T. Foster, Lanett; Mrs. Crawford McKay, West Point; Mrs. W. K. Cofield, Beulah, Ala; Mrs. Frank Hammond, Gadsden, Ala; Mrs. Chester Carter, Huntingdon, West Va.; Mrs. Buford Sewell, Leesburg, Ala; three sons, Preston and Harvey Sharpe, White Plains; Marion Sharpe, Oklahoma City, Okla.; five sisters, Mrs. Raleigh Williams, Atlanta; Mrs. Will Crouch, Shawmut; Mrs. Cleve Stevens, LaFayette; Mrs. John Mobley, LaGrange; Mrs. Ernest Hill, Buffalo; eleven grandchildren.
