UPDATE JAN 2016 - Richard, Bob & Lara Belle were born in Prescott, Nevada Co., AR (per residence in 1935 according to the 1940 census). They did not move to McNeil until 1937. I'm not sure when they moved to Magnolia, but it was after 1942.

Henry migrated from IL to AR following the logging trade. He made railroad ties out of the felled lumber. He moved his family all over Arkansas, including: Texarkana, Augusta, Haskell, McNeil, Magnolia & Arkadelphia.

He died of a heart attack sitting at home in his chair.

Henry A. Jacobs, World War Veteran
Henry A. Jacobs, 66, of 604 West Fourth died at his home yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Jacobs was born Feb. 10, 1892, in St. Louis, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hans Christian Jacobs. He attended Illinois schools.
Mr. Jacobs served with the United States Army during World War I and recently retired as a factory worker.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Brad Jacobs of Beaumont, Tex., Robert Arthur Jacobs of Pine Bluff and Edward R. Jacobs of Langley Air Force Base, Va.; six daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Mann and Mrs. Emma Grace Hulse of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Cleo Mann of Beaumont, Mrs. Betty Beamon of Alexandria, La., and Mrs. Ruth Carlson and Linda Jacobs of Magnolia; one brother, Albert Jacobs of Springdale; one sister, Emma Jacobs of Springdale; and 25 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by South Funeral Home.

Henry Jacobs
Funeral services for Henry Jacobs, 66, who died Monday at his home, will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at South Funeral Home by the Rev. Eugene Webb, pastor of the Lee Memorial Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the memorial section of Graceland Cemetery.
