Worked for Johnson's Grocery in Huguley and Givorn's Grocery in Lanett and Johnson's Bait and Tackle in West Point, GA at West Point Lake. He was handy and had a huge wooden toolbox in the carport. Divorced Mercedes in 1950. He lived for about 25 years in Pensacola, where he married Mercedes and had son who was called Dudey.

Lanett - Mr. Lorenza H. Hill, 76, of Lanett died Monday morning very unexpectedly at the Lanier Hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Lanett Community Chapel Church of God followed by burial in Oakwood Cemetery at Lanett. The Rev. Holly Weldon and the Rev. Edgar Thompson will officiate.
Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Louise Hedrick Hill; one brother, Marvin L. Hill of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Hill of Alabaster, Ala. and Mrs. Hilma Moon of Shawmut and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hill, a lifelong Chambers County resident, was a retired salesman.
Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home of Langdale is handling the arrangements.
