When the paramedics came, he got up and walked to the ambulance, claiming he was fine. He died the next day in the hospital from internal injuries. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Since he was 34 when he married Henrietta, I wonder if he were married before. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Danny and Eddy Rogers; two daughters, Laverne and Mary Rogers; one brother, George Rogers; a half brother, Gerald Rogers; and a half-sister, Mrs. Nellie Pittman. Funeral services, under the direction of a Magnolia funeral home, will be held at 2 PM today in the Assembly of God Church of Magnolia, with the Reverend Murphy Smith officiating. The body will remain at the funeral home until time for the services.
