The family lived around Dayton, Rhea, TN, Crossville, Cumberland Co., TN and Rockwood, Roane Co., TN.
The family moved to Arkansas to get out of Teneessee. Growing up, R. C. & his siblings were called half-breeds.   The home where they lived in Friendship, AR sat where the interstate runs now.
