Note: I'm not sure this Jenkins Hansford Welch is a son of James W. Welch. Although he is listed with James & John in the 1860 census, he is older than John but listed below him. Census takers often listed individuals that way to show a different relationship to head of household other than spouse or child. Unfortunately they did not list relationships in that census.
This may be Jenkins Hansford "Jenks" Welch, the son of James' brother Dempsey Perry Welch & Martha Jane Deas.
I also cannot locate this person after 1860. :(
