  Automobiles:
The first I have familial testimony to was a 1948 Ford Super DeLuxe Fordor (4-door) Pillared Hardtop Sedan.
The second I have familial testimony to was a 1955 Ford Fairlane (1955-1970) Fordor (4-door) Pillared Hardtop Sedan.
The third I have familial testimony to was a 1960 Ford Galaxie 500 Fordor (4-door) Pillared Hardtop Sedan.
The fourth I have familial testimony to was a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 Four Door Hardtop. It was a full-size car, had a vinyl roof and rear-wheel drive with an automatic transmission on the column. 1966 was the first model year for the Ford LDT to stand alone from the Galaxie.
The first car I remember was a 1972 Ford Galaxie 500 Fordor (4-door) Pillared Hardtop Sedan, that was Dark Jade Green with the same color interior. It was a BIG car, and had rear-wheel drive with an automatic transmission on the column. She owned it until 1978.
The second car I remember was a 1978 Ford LTD Fordor (4-door) Pillared Hardtop Sedan. It was a beautiful car. It was the last year they produced them like that (1975-1978 series LTD). The official color was Light Yellow, but it actually looked pale yellow with a Dark Jade Green vinyl top and trim. It had brocade fabric of Dark Jade Green for it's elegant and comfortable interior. It also had rear-wheel drive with an automatic transmission on the column. She owned it until 1986.
The third car was a 1982 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Tudor (2-door) Coupe. She bought it used in 1986. It was blue and silver with a blue leather interior. It had front-wheel drive with an automatic transmission on the column.
She owned her last car until about 1992. A few years later she would go into assisted living.
All her automobiles were purchased at Huguley-Scott Ford-Mercury in West Point, GA, except the last one, which was found by her grandson-in-law.

In 1960 Dick Hedrick told Lorenza and Louise that if they continued to live upstairs at his house they would have to pay rent, so they bought a brand-new 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath ranch-style home in SW Lanett off Highway 50/The LaFayette Highway (now Veterans Memorial Parkway). When built the address was Route 3, Box 905, Lanett, Alabama. Their phone number was 576-3755. In 1985 Lanett re-named the streets and it became 1905 16th Street SW.
