WWI draft card from Caldwell Parish, LA. It states he lived in Grayson, was a log hauler for E. F. Warner near Grayson, had one child, was tall with a medium build and brown hair with brown eyes.

His name was actually Northen, but on all official military records he is listed as Northern.
The VA supplied the information on his death record (under the name Northern) and his stone.

Northen's death certificate says he was to be buried in Columbia Hill Cemetery, Columbia, LA. He and Bessie are buried in Franklin Parish, LA. Lived in Gilbert, Franklin Parish, LA.
Was in the lumber industry, having been a barker, ax man and saw mill foreman.
He helped raise Bessie's three younger children.
