Note: Unsure if the family name was actually Jacobs or if it was changed when his son Hans/Henry & mother arrived in the New World. A descendant claims the name was changed.
This family has it's origins in the German Empire's Northern State of Prussia, and before that the Baltic States. The ancestors of those early people were Norse Vikings.
