Jane Jacobs, 82, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 6, 2018, at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation, LLC.
Mrs. Jacobs was born May 13, 1936, in Rowell, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Lincoln Garfield and Helen Augusta Roberts Sipes. She was reared and received her education in Pine Bluff.
She married Robert Jacobs, August 11, 1956, in Greenville, Mississippi.
Mrs. Jacobs worked in various places including Ben Pierson, Dr. Pepper Bottling Company, nursing and caregiving.
She was attended Victory Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her husband Robert Jacobs of Pine Bluff; three sons, Steve (Carol) Jacobs of Star City, Danny (Debra) Jacobs of Pine Bluff, and Chris (Wendy) Jacobs of White Hall; brother, L. C. Sipes of Pine Bluff; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Bruce Jacobs; three sisters, Jean Davenport, Margie Rushing, and Erma Lee McLarrin; and three brothers, Richard Sipes, James Sipes, and Larry Sipes.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 11, 2018, 9:00 10:00 AM, at Fuller Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018, 10:00 AM, Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Jonathan McEntire officiating. Burial will follow at Rowell Cemetery.
