She stated she was widowed, which she was not, she was divorced. * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * The LaFayette Sun, Wednesday, April 16, 1930, Front Page Mrs. Sharp Passes Away at Age of 89* Mrs. M. A. Sharp, sister of the late T. A. Scott, and aunt of Charlie Scott, of this city, died at the home of her nephew last Friday morning after a brief illness. The deceased had no close relatives and for the past several years had made her home in Montgomery, but had only recently removed to LaFayette. She was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church near this city, and it was there that the funeral was held last Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. J. B.
