  Mrs. Sharp Passes Away at Age of 89*
  Mrs. M. A. Sharp, sister of the late T. A. Scott, and aunt of Charlie Scott, of this city, died at the home of her nephew last Friday morning after a brief illness.
  The deceased had no close relatives and for the past several years had made her home in Montgomery, but had only recently removed to LaFayette.  She was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church near this city, and it was there that the funeral was held last Saturday morning at 11 o'clock.
  Rev. J. B. Lanier, pastor of the local Baptist church was the officiating minister.  Interment was in the Rock Springs cemetery.
