Alice Sharp
Services for Alice Sharp, 94, of Heflin formerly of LaFayette, were held July 11 at Penton Church of God with Rev. Leon Newton officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Sharp passed away July 9 at Cleburne County Nursing Home. She was born July 17, 1914 and was retired from West Point Pepperell after 26 years of service. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother Calvin Moore of Heflin and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ralph Faulk, Joe Brown, Clois Moore, Carl Thompson, Bobby Carter and Bobby Moore.
Jeff Jones Funeral Home was in charge of the services.
