  LAFAYETTE - Mr. Sam T. Foster, 71, of LaFayette died Wednesday morning at Chambers County Hospital following an extended illness.
  Services are scheduled for today at the First Baptist Church of LaFayette at 3 p.m. CST with Dr. John Burrows officiating. Brial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett.
  Mr. Foster is surveyed by his wife, Mrs. Nell Foster of LaFayette; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Rodgers of Atlanta and Mrs. Faye Spence of LaFayette; one son, Ron Foster of Albany, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Huff of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Mrs. Mary Sudduth of Roanoke; one brother, Carroll Foster of Atlanta and six grandchildren.
  Mr. Foster was a native of Chambers County and a member of the First Baptist Church of LaFayette. He was a retired car salesman.
