Olive is also survived by her grandchildren William (Zina) Clare, Rebecca Charnley, Jenna Froats, and Eric Froats; nephews Herschal (Linda) Hill of Georgia and Tom Hill of Wales and niece, Netha Hill of Penn Valley, Calif.Olive Johnson had many interests and was a valued member of several organizations throughout her life, including: Leader of Cub Scout, Brownie and Girl Scout troops, the United Methodist Women's Society (59 years), Lyrical Locos musical group in Colfax (20 years), teacher's aide for the San Leandro Unified School District (6 years), choir member and Sunday school teacher at both the Methodist Church of San Leandro and Colfax Methodist Church (50 years combined). Olive's most special achievements were being a devoted wife and mother who raised four children and helped to raise four grandchildren. She was a lady of grace and beauty, who had only love and caring to share with all she met. She will be dearly missed.
