a. Note:   {geni:about_me} Bernt Zackarias was born January 11, 1822 at Slettestrand Lista and was Christened January 17, 1822 at Lista. Bernt Zackarias Jonassen married Anna Severine Petersdtr. They first lived in Slettestranda and Sellegrod. He was not much of a farmer and in 1844 was bought out by his uncle Lars and moved to Hoveland Farm.
  per Egil Knustad - He wanted to take over his father's farm at Slettestrand, but didn't have enough money to keep it. He sold it to his uncle and rented it for a couple years before he bought a farm in Halland in 1849.
