Note: It should be mentioned that in the source, Roger Donald Riddle's, "Yates Family History (cir 1996)." John Yates,III was listed as John Yates, Jr. The source did not go back any farther than two John Yates, therefore I assumed that Roger Riddle did not know that there was a "John Yates Sr.", a "John Yates Jr.", and a "John Yates, III."
John Yates Jr. (actually John Yates, III) bought 804 acres of the Robert Cleveland farm.
