(Susan B.) r 713 Harmar [Source: Polk Directory of Fort Wayne, Indiana] Barbara Morris Hartman stated that 713 Harmar was the home of Bernard's daughter and son-in-law, Hubert and Collette (Luebbenjans) Gotta (where the 1930 Census shows them living). The house was built by "Hubie" and his father. After the loss of Bernard's job to "a more educated man" at the Lutheran hospital running the boiler room, the Luebbenjans family moved into the Gotta house. Space was so tight that sisters Clara, Florence, and Agnes had to sleep in the same double bed.
