a. Note:   , probably the brother of Bernard George Luebbenjans: Lubenyans, George. declared 6 Nov 1900 native of Germany. Age 22 yrs. Embarkation Bremen, 24 Aug. 1888 arr. Baltimore, 5 Sept. 1888. bk. 4, p347. Compare this statement with that of "Lubbenjans, Barney. Book 10, page 334. Date of declaration: May 3, 1892. From: Germany - embarked Bremen. Age: 22 years. Arrived Baltimore - 1889." They were likely brothers, came at the same time, and one of them got the year wrong.
  MARRIAGE: George and Frances separated and the families lost contact. Their children changed their last name from "Luebbenjans" to "Johns."
