  According to an e-mail from Angelia Roberson, Soloman Gordon Hickey married Emiline Duke's sister Polly Duke. One of their daughters, Elizabeth Jane Hickey married John Thomas (born June 25, 1840), son of John & Sarah Ellen Addis Thomas of Pickin Dist., S. C. who followed the Hickey family to Arkansas to marry his sweet heart.
