Birth: Mar. 7, 1921 Pacio Delta County Texas, USA Death: Mar. 9, 2011 McAlester Pittsburg County Oklahoma, USA Juanita was the daughter of Thomas Crumbley Sr. and Oma (Inglehart) Crumbley. She grew up in Pacio, TX and graduated from high school where she was quite good at volleyball. She met Jimmie Dee McDonald in Cooper, Texas, and they were married in 1939 in Paris, Texas. As a young bride, she worked as a real "Rosie the Riveter" in Colorado building planes while her husband was in the military. After their service to their country they made their home in McAlester for more than 65 years. She worked at Whitakers Drug Store then Woods Drug Store for many years. She loved watching her sons play football, and when they were grown she enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards with her family, and cooking for her loved ones. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three sons, James McDonald and his wife, Ann, of Claremore, Kenneth McDonald and Gwen McMillen, of McAlester, and Gary McDonald and his wife, Gayle of McAlester. Also, six grandchildren, Jimmy McDonald, Christina Klein and husband, Larry, David McDonald, Brandy Watkins and husband, Aaron, Jason McDonald and Kristy Cusher and husband, Rashad. And, seven great-grandchildren, Mason McDonald, Ryleigh McDonald, Garyn Watkins, Gaige Watkins, Garrison Watkins, Kaiden Cusher and Gracie McDonald. And, one sister-in-law, Evelyn Crumbley, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son, Jerry Don McDonald; a sister, Mildred "Rea" Anderson; two brothers, Junior and Merle Crumbley, and a granddaughter-in-law, Julie McDonald. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Brumley-Mills Chapel with the Rev. Bob Kelley officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester. Pallbearers will be Jimmy McDonald, Jason McDonald, Aaron Watkins, Rashad Cusher, Mason McDonald and Garyn Watkins. Honorary pallbearers will be David McDonald, Larry Klein, Alvie Carney, Don Parker, Billy Mann Sr. and Randy Thompson.
