Note: n on September 29, 1943 in Wendell, Idaho, and departed this life on December 1, 2009 at her residence near Norwood, Missouri following a long illness. She was 66 years, 2 months and 1 day of age.
Sharon moved with her family at a young age to Missouri and grew up in Wright County. She graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in 1961. She was united in marriage to Don Beard in 1962. Two children were born to this union.
Sharon was later married to Jerald Hilt on November 23, 1970 in Miami, Oklahoma. Together they have four children.
Sharon was employed by the Security Bank in Mtn. Grove for thirty-seven years. She was a member of the Whetstone Baptist Church and enjoyed attending services and church activities as long as her health permitted.
Sharon was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also liked to take drives in the country. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Don Beard.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years: Jerald Hilt of their home; two sons: Mark Beard and his wife, LaDonna, of Springfield, Missouri, and Russell Hilt of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters: Denise Douglass and her husband, Steve, of Lebanon, Missouri and DeAnna Davis and her husband, Jason, of Norwood, Missouri; one brother: Kenny Burney and his wife, Karen, of Mtn. Grove; eleven grandchildren: Levi, Kelsey and Khloe Hilt, Rachel, Jared, Joseph, Abby, and James Davis, Christian and Seth Douglass, and Ian Beard; and a host of other relatives and friends.
