Note: l be held at 1:30 PM Monday, November 4, 2013 at the North Hopkins Cemetery with Brother Tommy Hall officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM (noon) to 1:00 PM Monday at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Bill McDonald passed away Saturday morning, November 2, 2013 at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco. He was born in North Hopkins on October 29, 1930, the son of George W. McDonald and Cecil (Campbell) McDonald. He married Jeanie Wakeland. She preceded him in death in 1980. He married Neva Ray; she survives. He was a retired architectural engineer and a member of First Baptist Church in Hubbard. He was formerly a member of Davis Street Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force and he was a Mason for 50 years. Other survivors include: four sons, Randy McDonald and wife Jane, Michael McDonald and wife Johnnie, all of Midlothian, Charles Wakeland of Austin and John Wakeland and wife Lisa of Arlington; brother Bob McDonald and wife Josephine of Texarkana; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and nephew Larry Hendrickson. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
