Note: Nevada County Picayune and Gurdon Times Newspaper Archive Zonie Marie Johnson SHACKELFORD FUNERAL HOME of PRESCOTT Published Wednesday, January 17, 2001 in the Nevada County Picayune Zonie Marie Johnson, 37, of Whelen Springs died Wednesday, January 10, 2001, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs. Mrs. Johnson was born March 23, 1963, in El Dorado to James and Shirley Schee Jr. She was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Scott Johnson, in 1999. Survivors include her son, Marion Jesse Ashcraft of Whelen Springs; two daughters, Tasha Ashcraft of Arkadelphia and Jennifer Webb of Hot Springs; her mother, Shirley Cooper of Whelen Springs; her sisters, Cherry Miller of Hot Springs and Renee Johnson of Gurdon; her grandmother, Mae Ezell of Arkadelphia; two grandchildren; three step children; and four step grandchildren. Graveside services were held Saturday, January 13, at Morris Cemetery at Caney under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
