Note: Audrey's Obituary Audrey F. Neal, 81, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away Sunday March 10, 2013 while under hospice care at Gainesville Health and Rehabilitation Center, Gainesville, Virginia.
Born Audrey F. Winchester on May 5, 1931 in Odem, Texas she is the daughter of the late John Thurmont and Viola (Pavlicek) Winchester.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael W. and Karen Farris; four grandchildren, Crystal Jordan, Kyle, Steffan and Emma Farris as well as one great grandchild, Ashlynn Trenary, all of Front Royal, Virginia. She leaves behind two siblings, a brother, D.D. âJackã Brown of Smithville, Missouri and a sister, Margie Yowell of Boyce, Virginia along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Everett Winchester of South Carolina.
She was a retired seamstress who worked as a Care Giver prior to her full retirement. Audrey was well known for her gift of southern cooking, quilting and personality. She never met a stranger.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 24 at 2 p.m. at New Life Christian Church, 2930 Middle Road, Winchester Virginia with Larry Veach officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made in her memory to the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Shenandoah, 598 North Kent Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
