Maggie Fitzgerald
Services were held for Maggie Fitzgerald, who died March 18 in Santa Cruz. She was 94. Born in Kosse, Texas, she lived in Santa Cruz for 39 years and before that resided in Stockton. She worked as a clerk at the San Joaquin County sheriff's department and Delta Collections. Later, she worked at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz as a supervisor of housekeeping.
She enjoyed swimming and was a member of the Silver Dolphins in Santa Cruz. She also enjoyed quilting, and was a past president of CWF Women's Federation. She is survived by her son, Judge Robert Fitzgerald of Corona del Mar; daughters Margaret Cleveland of Ventura, Geri Creamer of Stockton, Carolyn Fitzgerald of Long Beach and Linda Anderson of Stockton; sister Idell Braden of Livingston; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
