James was a lifelong resident of Texas City and a faithful member of Crossroads Covenant Church.Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, November 12, 2004, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City with Dr. Terry Ray officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.He is prceded in death by his parents William L. "Bill" and Minnie "Lee" Dick.He is survived by his children, Michael Dick and Lanette Harris and husband Scott; his pride and joy, grandson Coby Dick; brother David Dick; sister Belinda Butler; mother of his children Sharon Willingham; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ernest and Gina Mathews; nieces and nephews, Albert Mathews, Maria Glazener and her husgand Chris, Brian Butler and Kimberley Butler; great-niece and -nephews, Elena Mathews, Zachary and Jakob Glazener; longtime friends Charles and Virgina Kern; and constant companion, Newton.
