Note: a went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 7, 2014. Mrs. Williams was born August 15, 1925 in Poplardel, FL and resided in Pensacola most of her life. She was an active member of Ferry Pass Baptist Church where she served as church and Sunday School secretary. Mrs. Williams attended Ferry Pass when the church was a mission of Olive Baptist Church over 44 years ago. She loved looking for her relatives through genealogy. Preceding Mrs. Williams in death are her son, Ray Williams, parents, Ellis and Odie Johnson Cooper, and brother, Floyd Cooper. Survivors include her husband, William G. Williams; daughters, Linda Moss and Shirley Young (Carl);granddaughter, Desiree Vandruf Watkins (James), two grandsons, Kevin Young (Donna) and Bryan Young; and six great grandchildren, Elijah and Desi Felix, Emily and Lander Watkins, and Dalton and Jaysea Young. Visitation will be Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 9:30 AM till the service time of 11 AM at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Brother Ken Cook and Brother Allen Taylor will officiate. .
