  SHREVEPORT, LA_ Funeral services celebrating the life of Thomas Cortez Page, Jr. (T.C.) will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2008 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Brother Billy Pierce and Brother William Valentine and assisted by Buster Page. Interment will follow in Forest Park St. Vincent Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday September 24, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. for visitation.
  Mr. Page was born on October 24, 1928 in Springhill, LA to Thomas C. Page, Sr. and Lela Shockley Page. He passed away into the arms of his Lord on September 22, 2008 at the N.W. LA. War Veterans Home in Bossier City. He was a resident of Shreveport. Thomas proudly served his country in the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, where he accepted Jesus, as his Savior in 1958. He served on many committees at the church. He was a member of the Blanchard Masonic Lodge, the El Karubah Shriners, and Scottish Rites Temple, he was also a leader of Boy Scout Troop 23 for a number of years. He served his community proudly and with honor for the Lakeview Water Co. and Lakeview Fire District #2. He retired from UOP after 36 years as a Lab Technician, where he was known as, "Top Cat." He loved traveling and camping with family and friends in his R.V.
  Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.
  Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 59 years, Thelma Page of Shreveport, LA; sons, Royce Page and wife, Teresa of Shreveport, LA, Ralph Page and wife, Julie of Bossier City, LA, Rodger Page and wife, Linda of Blanchard, LA; grandchildren, Christin Compton and husband, Ricky, Crystal Toothman and husband, Chris, Barbara Page, and Gretchen Edwards-Page; great-grandchildren, Brayden Toothman, and Richard Compton, IV; also numerous extended family and friends.
  Honoring Thomas, as Pallbearers will be his nephews, Steve Johnston, Donnie Johnston, and Ronnie Johnston, also serving are Howard George, Bill Winston and John Burns, III.
  Honorary pallbearers are Harry Lowery, James Cole, and James Latin
  The family wishes to thank Dr. Roy Fleniken and the 3rd wing staff at the N.W. LA Veterans Home for their kindness, affection and care that was shown to the family, also Thank you Dr. Michael Aura and Dr. Michael Futrell and their staff.
  The family request that memorials be made to the donor's choice.
