  Oscar Holcomb
 Jacksonville Daily Progress
 Services for Oscar Holcomb, 86, of Cove Springs, near Jacksonville, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at the Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville, with the Rev. Dan Middleton officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
 Mr. Holcomb died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, in Jacksonville. He was born Sept. 29, 1917, in Jacksonville.
 He was affiliated with the Methodist church, and a life member and past commander of the Jacksonville VFW Post No. 3984. He served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during World War II.
 Mr. Holcomb was the owner of Holcomb and Son John Deere Tractor, a farmer and a rancher.
 Survivors include his wife, Margaret Reagan Holcomb, of Jacksonville; daughters Aline Carter, also of Jacksonville and Connie Holcomb, Plano; sisters Ruby Lee Brown, Lake Jackson, Billy H. Strickland, Jacksonville and Bobbie D. Smith, also of Jacksonville; grandchildren Reagan Foster, Lucas Foster, Clay Canter and Merry Caroline Canter; several nieces and nephews.
 Pallbearers will be Bill Shull, Chesley Brown, Jon Bruckner, Patrick Reagan, Brad Pike and Eddie Reagan.
 Honorary pallbearers will be Doyce Bearden, Elvin Henry and Mrs. Frances Freeman.
 Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at the funeral home.
