Committal service will follow in the Hemphill Star Cemetery of Boyce under the guidance of White Oaks of Alexandria.Betty, 71, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Friday, June 28, 2013 in the Lexington House. She was born on March 12, 1942 in Pineville to Darrell Morse and Helen Ball Morse. She was a seamstress making drapes for Montgomery Ward. Betty made the red velvet custom drapes for the John Wayne Movie "Red O'Dair Hell Fighters". She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.She is preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Helen Morse; one daughter, Nelda Diane Harris ; one sister, Gloria Sue Cleveland ; and one brother, Pete Morse.She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, one daughter, Dixie Lynn Hare of Evadale, Texas; one son, Monroe Orson Hare of Vidor, Texas; three sisters, Cynthia Denise Guimaraes of Forest Hill, Pat Morse of Cotile, and Sarah Elizabeth McMahon of Pineville; one brother, Phillip Powell Morse of Cotile; eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.Friends may call on Saturday, June 29th from 3 pm till 8 pm and on Sunday June 30th, 2013 from 8 am until time of service in thefuneral home.
