Note: 4, of Ruston will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday May 3, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Emory, Rev. Jimmy Pyles and Rev. Chuck Johnson. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Bernice, LA. under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Ruston, LA. Mr. Watley was born November 9, 1922 in Saline, LA. and passed away April 30, 2007 in Ruston, LA. Fred was a Veteran of World War II and a retired paint contractor. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Ruston. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Burns Watley and brother William Watley. He is survived by his children: Patsy Truelove and husband William, Jimmy Watley and his wife Mary, Linda Odom and husband Jimmy, and Bobbie Brewster; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sister: Pearl Melvin and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Thompson, Ricky Watley, Scotty Watley, Chris Friedman, Sean McCall and Brian Weaver.
