Leonard Kirkham, Jr. was born July 29, 1937 in Bienville, LA. He was a resident of Van, and member of Union Chapel Methodist Church. He worked and retired from ABF after 20 plus years of driving. He was a master craftsman welder and loved his family.
Leonard passed away at the age of 80 on October 20, 2017 in Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Kirkham, Sr. and Beatrice Tilley Kirkham; brother, Richard Joe Kirkham; and sister, Arlene Bowman.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Jeanne Kirkham; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul & Soon Young Kirkham, Travis & Jennifer Potter, and Shane & Tamara Potter; daughters, Alison Skamangas and Meg Davis and husband, John; sisters, Ollie Mae Lee and Betty Culver; and grandchildren, Trace, Cara, Jack, Jailey, Rachel, Sam, Abbie & Emilee.
