Note: Evelyn Marie Bell December 14, 1934 - June 9, 2014
Evelyn Marie Bell, 79, of Rosevine, died Monday afternoon in the Nacogdoches Medical Center. She was born in Grayson, Louisiana, to Jessie and Donnie Brown Johnston. Evelyn has lived in Rosevine for thirteen years coming from Brookeland, Texas. She is a member of the Rosevine Church of God, W.M.U., taught Sunday School, loved to quilt, crochet, garden and cook.
Evelyn is survived by her husband Waylon Bell of Rosevine, her sons; Ricky Bell and his wife Franky of Spring, TX, Dennis Bell and his wife Linette of Bridge City, her daughters; Vickie Saltzman and her husband Tim of Hemphill, Sandra Bell Porter and her husband David of Katy, Texas, fourteen brothers and sisters, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson Douglas Wayne Bell.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 10, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 11, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Rosevine Cemetery.
