Rachel McWhirter
Services for Rachel M. McWhirter, 93, of Happy Haven Nursing Home, who died Sunday after an extended illness, will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Mabene Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. James Flamming and the Rev. Bob Weissinger, both of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Survivors include a granddaughter, Charlotte Little of Santa Fe, N.M.; and a grandson, Richard of Alamagordo, N.M. Pallbearers will be Lamar Moore, Jr., Adrian Crumpler, J.T. Carter, B.B. Longacre, Ted Moore and H.E. (Eddie) Whitaker.
