 No Headline Hawkinsville GA United States Rev. John W. McClung -HAWKINSVILLE - Graveside services for Rev. John W. McClung, 85, will be held at 11A.M. on Monday, 06 September 2004, at Pulaski/Bleckley Memorial Gardens. In case of rain the service will be held in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home. He died Friday, 03 September 2004. The Rev. Winfred D. Huff officiating. -The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Sunday, 05 September 2004. The family can be conducted at the home of Tommie and Ken Fowler, Route 4, Box 12550, Spring Valley Drive, Hawkinsville, GA. -Rev. McClung was a native of Palmer, TX. He had called Middle Georgia home for the last 42 years. -Rev. McClung was greeted in heaven by his loving wife Lillian, son John, parents Rex and Mattie McClung, a twin brother Walter, brother Pat and sister Frances and several nieces and nephews. -Rev. McClung was a charter member and first pastor of the Grovania New Testament Church. He was a faithful servant of GOD and a loving husband and father. He was a World War II Veteran who served in the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. -He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Tommie and Ken Fowler of Hawkinsville, GA; one son, David (Jean) Forehand of Haynesville, GA; three daughters, Mary (Will) Monk of Cottonwood, AL; Pat Texler of San Diego, CA and Wanda (Ron) Limper of Ulysses, KS; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; three sisters Dorothy (Leon) St. Onge of Redlands, CA; Ruth Hicks of Mancos, CO and Martha (Jim) Mason of Murrieta, CA and one brother Hayden (Lee) McClung of Beaumont, CA. -The family would like to give special thanks for the care Dad received from the staff of Pineview Health Care Center, his doctor, Reuben S. Roberts and United HOSPICE from Cordele, GA. -In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the following: The Alzheimer's Association, Central GA Chapter, 277 MLK Jr. Blvd., Macon, GA 31208; or United HOSPICE 16 Avenue, Cordele, GA 31015. -Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
