a. Note:   larksville, Texas, on June 22, 1926. He was in the United States Army and served during World War II. Homer retired from the United States Post Office in Garland. After retirement he was a Crossing Guard at the Centerville Elementary School. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Evelyn; sons, Dale Strawn and wife Terry of Llano, TX, Michael Strawn and wife Suzanne of Richardson, TX and James Strawn and wife Mary of Garland, TX; daughter, Sue Haynes of Carthage, TX.; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Friday. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Eastgate Funeral Home. Officiating will be Dr. F. Merle May.
