Note: Ozio H. John Ozio, 74, of Houston, formerly of Beaumont, died Saturday, March 5, 2011. Born January 3, 1937, in Beaumont, to Hubert Joseph and Ruby Atkins Ozio, he resided in Houston for the last twenty-five years. John worked as an insurance claims adjuster for Littleton Insurance and was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his sons, Jeffery Ozio of Hanover, Indiana and Dan Ozio and his wife Shirley of Centerville, Ohio; daughter, Angela Huff and her husband Larry of Madison, Indiana; mother, Ruby Ozio of Port Arthur; seven grandchildren, Eric M. Ozio, Thomas J. Ozio, Adam R. Ozio, Joshua B. Baldwin, Candice M. Harris, Ashley B. Marts, and Julia J. Watterson; and nieces, Bridget Piazza, Brandi Ozio Hennard, and Victoria Cantu. John is preceded in death by his father, Hubert Joseph Ozio; and brother, Ronald Joseph Ozio. A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2011, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will begin 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Friday.
