Note: Life Legacy Mary Norwood
Mary Jean Norwood, age 66, of Nash, Texas, died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at her home.
Mrs. Norwood was born February 4, 1948 in Heidelberg, Germany. She was formerly employed with Kohl’s Department Store and Dillard’s in Texarkana. She was a member of Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church, the Women’s Celebration and the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her husband: Jimmy Norwood of Nash, Texas; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Danny and Sandy Toon of Faxon, Oklahoma; Damon and Kortni Toon of Cooper, Texas; Mike Norwood of Wake Village, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law: Penny and Brett Swanger of Nash, Texas; Lorrie and James Smith of Queen City Texas; one sister: Betty Ann Cope of Paris, Texas; ten grandchildren: two great grandchildren and a number of friends and other relatives.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday at Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Preston Greenwaldt officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P M.
