Note: Floyd Davis September 20, 2018 Longtime resident Floyd Dean Davis departed this life September 20th in Paris, Texas. He was born to Acie Dean Davis and Letha Bird Webster in Dunbar, Oklahoma on July 25, 1936. At the tender age of 17 he married the love of his life Hazel Marie Spence on September 28, 1953. During the life of their marriage they were blessed with three children, two sons and one daughter. Throughout his life he had many occupations but he was most known as Floyd the barber. He loved to hunt and fish and was an avid coon hunter. He loved to play the guitar and sing with his granddaughters and family. As well as, cheer on the local youth at all their activities. He was a loving pawpaw to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Lois Jackson and Louise Thompson, two grandsons: Sam Eli Davis and Jeremy Edward Davis, nephew: Harvey Jackson, and one niece: Elizabeth Allman. He is survived by his soulmate Hazel Davis, brother: Thomas Odell Davis of Hugo, OK, sister: Eunice Reynolds of Dunbar, OK. Two sons: Dean and Teresa Davis of Hugo, OK and Troy and Kami Davis of Grove, OK and on daughter: Gina and husband Mark Hammock of Soper, OK. He was blessed with a many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends and family. He will be greatly missed.
